Ross Hamilton ( Founder of HowToMac.co.uk )
My background has been in working in education for the past 5 years. I first started of as a Windows technician for a local secondary school in bristol. Now I am the network manager of that very same school. Within these 5 years I have also worked in other areas such as higher education and other secondary schools in other local authorities. I started to get a passion with working on Macs little over 2 years ago. Now to date I am apple certified and I have helped many schools around the UK to integrate apple into there current windows environment.

How To Mac is an independently owned website. We make no profit and offer all of our resources free of charge. We have been running for almost 2 Year now and in our spare time we pass on our years of knowledge to help others who may struggle. Our main visitors we like to focus on are educational areas. We feel we want more and more schools to have Apple Macs within school so children are aware of OS X and what it is capable of.
We intend to add more and more articles and more downloads but we require your help. We need you to contact us with your problems and even send us some information of problems you have hit and you would like to have them published. After all we do not see all the same problems and we want to offer as much support possible.

Because each of our article writers works full time jobs we can find it hard to update some pages. So please bare with us and check every now and again for updates.
